Buenos Aires, AR.- Prosegur, through its Foundation, has delivered a total of 230 Talent Scholarships in Argentina for the 2019 academic year. This initiative is part of the program of study grants that the company promotes in the country for 9 years, and represents the commitment to academic excellence and personal effort of employees of the company and their families.
For this school year, 200 grants have been awarded for children of school-age employees and 20 for those who are pursuing university careers with an outstanding academic record, in addition to 10 scholarships for Prosegur professionals who are combining work and training.
The Prosegur Foundation, which channels the social and cultural action of the company, celebrated the delivery of diplomas at the Prosegur headquarters in Buenos Aires and the common thread was education 4.0. Thus, the act was attended by Patricia Mejalelaty, executive director of the Leer Foundation, who shared with the scholars their vision on the challenges and challenges of this new model of education. In addition, Martín Alejandro Lebrero, commercial director of cybersecurity of Prosegur Argentina, also participated. During his speech he reviewed the technological innovations that have broken into our daily lives, and encouraged the youngest ones to take care of their digital profile and become aware about what they share in the cybernetic environment.
The Talent Scholarship program aims to contribute to the formation of new generations. With the conviction that education is the engine of personal development and social progress, this initiative has benefited more than 12,000 students from 9 countries in three continents since 2007: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Singapore and Uruguay.
