Bogotá, Co.- The Prosegur Foundation has delivered 144 Talent Scholarships, within its program of study grants, which aims to recognize the effort and academic excellence of employees and their families in school and university.
For this course, 77 scholarships have been awarded for children of school-age employees and 25 grants directed to Company professionals who combine their work with higher education. Likewise, 42 university scholarships have been awarded for children of collaborators with an outstanding academic record.
The award ceremony took place in Bogotá and was attended by students and their families, as well as company executives. During it, the change that education, like other social areas, is currently living with the emergence of technology and the need to adapt training to the skills of the XXI century was highlighted.
"We are sure that our scholars and their families have taken note of how Education 4.0 is revolutionizing the learning process, as well as involving a transformation in the roles played by teachers and students. Now, students dare to make responsible decisions that positively change their lives and surroundings, becoming entrepreneurs "said Yago Palao, regional director of Prosegur Cash for Latam Norte.
The Talent Scholarship program aims to contribute to the formation of new generations. With the conviction that education is the engine of personal development and social progress, this initiative has benefited more than 12,000 students from 9 countries since 2007: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Singapore and Uruguay .
