Bogota, Co.- With the start of the school year in Colombia, we have granted a total of 111 Talent Scholarships, which represent the commitment to academic excellence and personal effort of Prosegur employees and their children.
Thus, of the total number of study grants, 52 correspond to school scholarships for children of employees, 23 are grants to Prosegur professionals who are combining their work with training programs, and 36 are university scholarships for children of employees with an outstanding record.
The presentation of diplomas was held at the Colsubsidio Cube, in a ceremony attended by Mercedes Borbolla, Managing Director of the Prosegur Foundation and Prosegur executives in Colombia. In addition, on this occasion, young professionals from the National University joined in, leading innovation projects focused on knowledge transfer by strengthening soft skills. During the event, different challenges were designed that the participants resolved in working groups.
The Talent Scholarship program aims to contribute to the training of new generations and has already benefited more than 13,700 students from 14 countries since 2007: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica; El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Singapore, Spain and Uruguay.
