Madrid, Sp.- More than 9,900 kilometers have traveled the four students of the Uruguayan school "Alfred Nobel", until arriving in Spain to participate in the South Summit Fair: the most important event in southern Europe on innovation and entrepreneurship that connects startups with investors. Enrolled in the "Kids" division, the Piecitos made an elevator pitch before a jury to present their "Bajavolumen" project, an initiative that seeks to reduce noise pollution in cities through a collaborative app. Their exhibition, made entirely in English, earned them a deserved second place, competing with other teams from schools in Madrid.
This milestone has meant the culmination of the "Despierta, Crea y Transforma el Medioambiente" project of the Créate Foundation, which Fundación Prosegur has taken to 11 schools of its Development Cooperation program to convert more than 600 students into entrepreneurs. A new way of learning through creativity, experiential experiences and critical thinking.
