First day of volunteering with Aldeas Infantiles Colombia

‘Volunteering with SOS Children's Villages helped me to see firsthand testimonies of Colombian families who are going through difficult situations, but continue to fight to stay united and be better’.

This is one of the testimonies of the first volunteering day held in Bogotá, together with the social organisation SOS Children's Villages International.

This solidarity event brought together more than 140 people - including families from the organisation's empowerment programmes and Prosegur employees - to improve mental health through socio-emotional skills.

Thus, the aim was to promote a healthy and safe environment, encourage respect for the family, raise awareness among participants about the importance of managing emotions, as well as promote practices and activities that strengthen relationships between parents and children.

This action is the result of the campaign ‘Prosegur Protects Christmas’, carried out by Prosegur Alarms, whose objective was to support with a financial donation to SOS Children's Villages International and YMCA Young Men's Christian Association.
