We live in a continuously- growing digital world, where access to technology makes the difference between opportunities and barriers. At Prosegur Foundation, we firmly believe that education is the engine for social change to happen and that no talent should be left out due to a lack of digital resources.
That's why, since 2020, we have been promoting our Digital Divide program, a circular approach initiative with a clear goal: to close technological bias in vulnerable communities of Latin America and Spain.

Technology with Purpose: How we Transform Future
During 2024, our employees in Peru carried out Corporate Volunteering activities that refurbished more than 90 computer systems from Prosegur Cash, Prosegur Security, and Prosegur Alarms. Thanks to the joint efoort of the IT department and other areas, unused computers were transformed into educational tools for social organizations and destitute schools.
This circular economy model not only extends the useful life of devices but also, reduces its environmental impact and strengthens our solidarity action, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
Allies for Change: Success Stories in Peru
Donations were made after a rigorous analysis of each beneficiary's needs. In Lima, we collaborated with the Metropolitan Beneficence Society, which received 37 equipments to strengthen its social care centers. According to Alejandro Jiménez, "this contribution has a transformative impact on the personal and educational development of those who need it most."
In Jaén, the IE Fernando Belaúnde Terry school, envolved in our Development Cooperation Program Piecitos Colorados, expanded its digital classroom, allowing its students to start learning programming with our project "Aprendo a Programar"
Meanwhile, Uayki Global Initiative received 51 equipments to continue their labour in promoting internet access in remote communities. Its manager, Esteban Loret de Mola, highlighted that "this valuable donation improves significantly the educational opportunities of students."

Corporate Volunteering: The Engine of Our Impact
At Prosegur Foundation, we promote Volunteering as an expression of our corporate culture. This initiative would not have been possible without the commitment of our professionals, who, with their talent and solidarity, allow us to positively impact society and the environment.
Thanks to each volunteer, each refurbished system, and each alliance, we continue to build a fairer future where technology is not a privilege but an accessible tool for everyone.
