Education as a Driver of Change

At Prosegur Foundation  we firmly believe that education is the most powerful tool for transforming lives and building societies filled with greater opportunity. With this goal in mind, we have signed an affiliation agreement with Educational Institution (I.E.) 7233 Matsu Utsumi, located in Villa María del Triunfo (Lima), which is now officially part of our Piecitos Colorados Development Cooperation program. 

The day was filled with emotion, art, and the warm enthusiasm of the students, who welcomed teams from the Foundation alongside representatives from the Metropolitan Lima Regional Education Directorate (DRELM) and UGEL 01.

During the ceremony, the school principal highlighted the impact this partnership will have on the school community, emphasizing that the Foundation's support will transform not only daily life at the school, but also the future and comprehensive development of the children.
 
 

Now that this agreement with local authorities has been formalized, more than 650 students, teachers and community will be benefited with the program, following an integral model of operation:

• Infraestructure: Enhancements to the school environment.
• Well-being: Nutritional education and sports programs.
• Future: Teacher support through pedagogical training, as well as educational reinforcement for students by providing tools to develop digital, literacy, and environmental skills.

With the addition of I.E. Matsu Utsumi, we renew our commitment and enthusiasm to continue building stories of personal growth and lasting social impact in Peru.
