Preparing classrooms for the new school year

The start of a new school year is much more than a date on the calendar; It's an opportunity to start over. Aware that a decent physical environment is the first step to motivate learning, Prosegur's teams of volunteers in Bolívar (Colombia) and Capiatá (Paraguay) have set out to "get down to work" with one goal: that when the doors of the classrooms are opened, students find a space that inspires them to dream and to excel.

Spaces that inspire

At the San José de Clemencia Educational Institution, in Colombia, the intervention focused on the comprehensive conditioning of classrooms and the promotion of quality food. The volunteers carried out painting work on facades and interiors and repaired school furniture and later, the focus moved to the school garden. Thanks to the alliance with Nuevo Amanecer and the "From the Garden to the Table" program, students and families participated in a sustainable planting workshop. This initiative not only guarantees access to fresh local food, but also empowers the community with practical tools on nutrition and healthy cooking.

For its part, at the San Ramón de Capiatá School, in Paraguay, the participation of Prosegur employees was essential to revitalize the play spaces and classrooms, ensuring that the furniture and electrical installations were in optimal conditions for the return to class.

By transforming these physical environments, we are creating a positive school climate that motivates students to continue learning. With school ready, the future can now enter class!
