Transforming Commitment into Action

As part of our ongoing commitment to the communities where we operate, we have gone one step further to turn social responsibility into a shared experience. Driven by this enthusiasm, we launched our Corporate Volunteering program in Costa Rica, choosing the classrooms and playgrounds of the 15 de Setiembre Educational Institution as our venue.

Throughout the day, a team of 28 colleagues became true agents of change. Taking a holistic approach, our volunteer professionals focused their efforts on three main pillars: connectivity, digital safety, and respect for the natural environment that surrounds us.

Through our Digital Divide program, the school received 30 new computers that will provide students and teachers with better technological resources for their daily routines. But it didn't end with donating equipment; our experts held practical workshops for 150 boys and girls. In these sessions, they not only discovered how a computer works, but also learned essential guidelines for navigating the internet safely and mindfully.
 
 

Furthermore, respect for nature played a leading role throughout the activity. Volunteers dedicated part of the day to completely renewing the institution’s green spaces through intensive pruning, groundskeeping, and responsible waste management. The result was a positive environmental footprint, returning vibrant gardens to the school where students can now enjoy their break times in a much healthier and well-cared-for environment.

 

This initiative in Costa Rica is a vivid reflection of the spirit of Prosegur Volunteers: committed people who, through their time, talent, and dedication, make the world a safer, more responsible place with greater opportunities for future generations.
