​We began sponsoring rural schools in Argentina—a project that would become the seed of our Development Cooperation program.

​Our partnership with Amigos del Museo del Prado Foundation begins, launching the very first museum visits for our employees.

2007

​Our Labour Inclusion Plan for people with intellectual disabilities is launched in Spain, marking our first hire in Madrid and the establishment of the Aprocor-Prosegur Special Employment Centre.

​The first Science Camps at Atapuerca were held, offering a unique educational and discovery-filled experience for our employees' children.

2008

​Our Talent Scholarships program, already established in Latin America, expands to Spain to support the higher education of our employees' children.​

​European employees volunteer across Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Brazil, engaging in social initiatives and experiencing the Foundation’s impact firsthand (Solidarity Trips).

2009

​We scaled our Labor Inclusion Plan to Prosegur offices across Spain, expanding our reach to A Coruña, Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, and Seville.

​We professionalize our school reconstruction efforts started in 2006 into a structured Development Cooperation program with the definition of a new operational model and the creation of a Working Manual.

2010

​The official launch of Piecitos Colorados, our flagship Development Cooperation program, was marked by a company-wide communication campaign and a major event at the Caja Mágica.

​The Futuro Vivo traveling exhibition is launched, creating a visual journey to showcase the company’s social impact and commitment.

2011

​We arrive to Asia: the Talent Scholarships program reaches Singapore.

​Launch of the volunteering program “Your Safety, Our Commitment” in collaboration with the Spanish Red Cross. Our security guards lead workshops in schools on accident prevention and first aid.

2012

​Prosegur is distinguished with the Codespa Award in the 'Solidarity Company' category, recognizing the social impact of our Piecitos Colorados program.

​We enlarge our Volunteering for Inclusion with sports days that support people with disabilities.

2013

​Publication of the first Nutritional Training Guides for Piecitos Colorados schools, developed following a comprehensive field study conducted in partnership with Nutrition Without Borders.

​Creation of the first Document Digitalization Center in Madrid, a pioneering facility staffed by people with intellectual disabilities to promote their professional inclusion.

2014

​The first edition of our “Playa Limpia” (Clean Beach) environmental education program was held, designed to raise awareness of environmental protection among the youngest generations.

​We began our collaboration with the ExE Foundation’s “Un día en el aula” (A Day in the Classroom) initiative, where our professionals give motivational talks to students from vulnerable backgrounds.

2015

We celebrate10 years of social action, creating opportunities for the future. During this decade, Piecitos Colorados reached 4,000 students, we surpassed 5,000 Talent Scholarships, and our training and employment programs empowered 434 people with disabilities.
 

2016

In partnership with Lego Education, we launched the "Planeta Limpio" project: Workshops in robotics  raise environmental awareness among students through hands-on technology.

We updated our Piecitos Colorados Operations Manual: The new focus prioritizes knowledge-sharing volunteering and expands Talent Scholarships for students in technical and technological fields.
 

2017

Art reaches Piecitos Colorados schools in collaboration with the Prado Museum and Prosegur Volunteers: The project "Creativity as a Driver for Change" is born to inspire students through artistic expression.

First Piecito student is granted with a scholarship to study the International Baccalaureate in Europe (UWC Mostar).
 

2018

First inclusive "Camino de Santiago" pilgrimage: Employees from Spain accompany people with disabilities on a 100km journey.

Our entrepreneurship program for Piecitos students, in partnership with Fundación Créate, reaches its peak with a team successfully participating in the South Summit Kids in Spain.
 

2019

The Foundation expands its reach into Central America: Talent Scholarships land in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.

Launch of our official Instagram channel @fundacionprosegur.

Inauguration of a new Document Digitalization Center in Peru, staffed by professionals with intellectual disabilities.

2020

Resilience during the pandemic:

“Aprendo con Prosegur” is launched: a platform with educational activities for students.

Our Digital Divide program emerges in Colombia, refurbishing decommissioned computers to be donated to vulnerable groups.

We launched the “Covid Free Classrooms” open innovation challenge for startups.
 

2021

Our new Yellow Identity: new graphism and we become more digital.

First University Hackathon in Spain to generate innovative solutions as a reply to a social challenge.

Committing to digital education: Our collaboration with Technovation Girls and Aprendo a Programar begins, and educational robotics reaches Piecitos Colorados.
 

2022

We added Ecuador to our regions of action.

First youth employability support program in Spain, in partnership with Fundación EXIT and Movistar Prosegur Alarms, training young people from vulnerable backgrounds as technicians.

Launch of "Sé Mentor" program in Latin America: a corporate volunteering project to provide academic and professional guidance to Piecitos scholarship recipients.

2023

Expanding the reach of Piecitos Colorados: first schools in Ecuador and Honduras.

The Excellence Centers in Digitalization (CED) celebrate their 10th anniversary, operating across 4 countries (Spain, Peru, Chile, and Brazil), with over 45 million documents and 400,000 invoices digitized.
 

2024

We drive social innovation through the “Desafío por la Educación” program in partnership with the Botín Foundation in Paraguay, training and strengthening Third Sector organizations.

Bringing Artificial Intelligence to Piecitos: the first teacher training initiative in the program.

Raising awareness about water conservation through the “Mi huella en el Planeta” project, implemented in Piecitos schools with the support of Prosegur Volunteers.
 

2025

Creating social value alongside our businesses through financial education, security workshops and technology donations.
Promoting literacy projects in Latin America and continuing to innovate in the classroom with the first robotics bootcamp in Piecitos schools.
Our corporate volunteering grows by 16.1% and expands into Central America.
