Technology with a purpose: Together with Prosegur Alarms, we promote technical education in Lima

We strongly believe we can contribute to our community on several fronts, beyond home and business security. We want to give our equipment a second life, transforming it into useful tools for the young people at the IESTP, thus supporting the education of disadvantaged populations in Metropolitan Lima.

Gabriel Norkus, General Manager of Prosegur Alarms

An agreement with social impact

This collaboration was formalized on April 25th with the signing of an agreement between the Prosegur Foundation, Prosegur Alarms, and DRELM. This agreement not only includes the delivery of equipment but also the participation of Prosegur professional volunteers, who will lead specialized workshops for the students, providing them with practical knowledge and providing them with opportunities for future careers within the company.

This agreement will significantly contribute to strengthening higher technological education and raising the quality of our students' technical and professional skills. This will result in better-qualified professionals, ready to join and successfully perform in the companies where they work.

Marcos Saúl Tupayachi Cárdenas, Regional Director of the DRELM

Education as an engine of change

At the Prosegur Foundation, we reaffirm our commitment to education as a driver of change with this initiative.

The Foundation's representative in Peru, Emma Pérez, emphasized: "Betting on the education of children and young people goes beyond promoting social change. We seek to generate opportunities for them to develop their potential and have the tools to build their future."

She added, "Hence the importance of the public and private sectors working together, fostering young people's access to the knowledge required by the world of work, and transforming the educational experience."
