From the Office to the Podium!

The Prosegur Foundation has lent its support to a new edition of CARRERÍ, the flagship charity run organized by the Federación Juntos por la Inclusión in Asunción, Paraguay. The event was held to promote equal opportunities and raise visibility for the rights of people with disabilities through sports.

(Note: The Federación Juntos por la Inclusión was previously part of our local program "Desafío por la Educación: Paraguay," reinforcing our ongoing support for their social integration projects.)

Joining steps  for inclusion

Guided by the premise that "when we run together, we include", the sporting event brought together more than 1,400 participants. Among the crowd of runners, 154 athletes with disabilities took center stage, proving that sports, are one of the most powerful tools for fostering awareness, empathy, and social cohesion.
A total of 47 Prosegur volunteers joined the initiative. Their preparation began weeks earlier in our offices with active break dynamics, driving integration and motivation before taking to the track. Thanks to this enthusiasm and high turnout, Prosegur earned a spot on the podium, ranking 3rd as the company with the largest number of participants in the event.

Transformative Partnerships

This edition of CARRERÍ was backed by athletes, guide runners, families, volunteers, running groups, companies, and partner brands (including NIKE, Itaú, Powerade, La Agrícola Compañía de Seguros, Indega, Farmacenter, and Munich Ultra, among others).
This synergy between civil society and the corporate sector demonstrates that combining efforts is the most effective path towards building accessible environments for everyone.

An Ongoing Commitment with Society

For the Prosegur Foundation, taking part in initiatives like CARRERÍ offers a valuable opportunity to promote empathy through sports.
This participation reaffirms our commitment to creating spaces where diversity and equal opportunities becomes a reality inside and outside the workplace. We are convinced that, step by step, we are helping build a fairer, more inclusive, and more united society.
