An alliance for youth employability in Spain

With the aim of promoting youth talent and contributing to the professional development of young people in vulnerable situations, we have launched an employability training programme together with Movistar Prosegur Alarms and the non-profit organisation specialising in this field, Fundación EXit.

In this first edition of the project, a total of fifteen young people aged between 18 and 25 have been selected to train as alarm installers. The three entities have collaborated in the selection of the candidates, the design of the training itinerary, the technical training and the accompaniment of the participants throughout the process.

The students have received theoretical and practical training, including transversal skills modules and a very customer-oriented vision. The project was carried out until the end of June at Prosegur's approved centre in Barcelona. Throughout these weeks, the Movistar Prosegur Alarms training team has constantly monitored the evolution of the candidates, together with the Exit Foundation and the company's Human Resources area.

Once the training and internship period was over, all the students passed the tests and joined the Movistar Prosegur Alarms team as alarm installation technicians.

With this initiative, we want to address a social problem such as youth unemployment in Spain, through a project that connects the real needs of companies with young talent seeking opportunities for development, especially for those who have it most difficult.
